Velo-Brunch. Beginning 1.11.09

Sunday brunch Velocity style.
The menu is being finalized now. I've heard tell of scrumptious scrambles, fresh baked biscuits and gravy, stuffed acorn squash, and tons more. All of it made fresh in house with a changing menu. We try to source as much locally as possible. As soon a spring hits look for a lot of fresh home grown veggies. Don't forget the Organic, fair trade coffee, espresso and teas available always.
Brunch is $12.50 per person and is all you can eat. Leave me some comments if there are dishes you would love to see.
In the meantime, remember that you can get any of our menu items any time of day. Breakfast for dinner? No problem.

Comfort In a Time of Cold

Just a little heads up Velo readers. The Velocicheese Steak is now in da haus.
Mouthwatering roast beef topped with caramelized onions, creamy, melty Havarti cheese and horseradish mayo.
This is a in-house fave that we HAVE to let you guys try.
My mouth is like Niagara Falls here just thinking about it.
Serious salivation.

Welcome to the Cafe!

What you see is the coming weekend (12/13-12/14) special from our cafe. Made with fresh mozzarella and feta cheeses, tomatoes, garlic, olives, red onions and parsley. Served with a bed of field greens and a dollop of hummus. (Scoop it with the crust-YUM!)
It's very fresh tasting as we put our menu items together when you order them. Also, we are very happy to make your food to order. Substitutions, never a problem.
I would like to suggest that you enjoy it with the Boylan's Birch Beer. It just works for me somehow. Foodie bliss...
What else? We were on KMOV for the 'Sauce on the Street' segment for Dec 8th. It's now on their website which you can find here. Nothing is funnier than watching your co-worker struggle to use their words in front of the camera. Hats off to Erik and Pat.
Finally, don't forget the hot chocolate, coffee, lattes, teas and our other hot beverages next time your at Art Hill Sledding. We are a slip slide away.

Come and see us!
